what i think is that labile cells ( example :neoplastic cells) are in G1 phase ,where by they go into S phase --->G2-->M

Are u sure asmi It is G1 phase .It could be the G0 Phase where the cell is not affectes because it is not dividing.

The cells may be in the G0 phase.
