Hi guys,
How long does it take to prepare for the USMLE step 2 cs?
Of course it varies but how many weeks do most people spend preparing?
I spent 10 weeks to prepare for the USMLE step 1 and did well. I am a medical student from Sweden and guess we get decent practical training here, though we do not necessarily do things exactly the same way they do it in America.
I am hesitating between spending one or two months on preparation. If I only study one month I would spend the other month doing rotations in the US. I will get two or three months of US clinical experience depending on how much time I´ll spend on the step 2 cs.

I would say one month is more than enough, especially if you are doing clinical rotations here. I think the most important factor to passing is communication skills, which is not something that you can really study, but doing clinical rotations here would help greatly.
