Dear friends,

Here are my tactics I followed to get 99

1.I never wasted my precious time in studying unnecessary but attractive books.I studied only Kaplan,FA,Kaplan Q book,UW

2.I never wasted my time in online dicussions and looking for online buddies,I studied by myself in a single room.Even in prep4usmle website I browsed support forum only never to the subjects. This is also because to update myself to new changes in USMLE.

3,I am a old IMG graduated 11 years back

4.I studied for 9 months.

5.I revised those books again and again till I got page memory. It is ridiculous if you are studying HOX genes, but forgotten the functions of IL 4

Thank you for your advice. People spend to much time "loitering" online. I had a good study partner, but she lost focus and I adjusted well to study by myself. By the way, did u study full time, were u able to study during your prep?

I studied full time, as usually the part time job exhausts physically and mentally.Unless you are thorough in your basic sciences it is not advisable to venture into any job.I also forgot to mention that for Patho I studied Goljan not Kaplan and for physiology I studied BRS not Kaplan.
