Hello every body!!!
As every Iranian graduate knows, all of the medical students in Iran should pass a period between 14 to 24 months as the compulsory service for government after finishing internship.
I have heared that every applicant for residency in US should enter the match program between 3 years after graduation.
Now please tell me by this program in Iran, we have a period of 3 years after finishing the internship or finishing our compulsory service.
I asked this Q because I guess there is not such a program in other countries.

Dear arvintac,
It is not true !! Although recent graduation is helpful for winning the match! but it is not an absolute criterion!
