Hey, guys, I am really, really freaking out...b/c although I know
I did the NBME questions maybe a little too ahead of time, my last
NBME ( I did form 3 about a week ago and totally freaked out ) was
results were terrible...

Anyway, I am re-studying the questions for NBME form 2 starting today..
and since my last try at NBME form 2 was about a month ago, I think
I am getting more of the questions right than I did back then..so the question
is, guys, please help me out on this one...

If I get about 10 questions wrong ( out of 50 questions for a section ),
what would my estimated score be...the 3 digit score they slam at you
when you finish all 4 sections.. let's say I got 10 wrong at each section. so
that would be 40 questions wrong out of the total 200 questions for
form 2.

I got 470 on NBME form2, and I got a score even lower than this
at my attempt at form3..it's weird...is form 3 more difficult?

Please help me out on both of the questions above, thanks a million in
advance!

Thanks, guys, I should have made my question clearer- I am
getting like 80% right on form 2.

( 80%, not the 2 digit score )

i think it is virtually impossible to estimate what that would
turn out to be in terms of 2 digit or 3 digit scores i guess..

i should just go and study :P

  #5

80% should be a very decent score, if u read the bulletin/booklet of usmle, they said that to get the passing score which is 75, u should be able to answer about 60-65 % of the qs correctly, so when u get 80% i think this should be over 90 score, don't u agree
