A 45-year old man presents with acute onset of black spots in the visual fields of his right eye.He has been having these symptoms for the past 2 months.He has severe vascular disease,as well as diabetes and hypertension.His blood pressure is 170/100 mm Hg.He has no focal weakness.Which of the following will most likely be found on this patient's physical examination?

A. Diastolic murmur at right upper sternal border
B. Holosystolic murmur
C. Left carotid bruit
D. Right carotid bruit
E. Systolic ejection murmur at right upper sternal border

The patient is presenting with amaurosis fugax,as a result of atherosclerosis of the carotid vessels.He is developing microemboli that are entering the opthalmic artery on the right and leading to the black spots.On examination,he could have a carotid bruit on ipsilateral side.
