Thank you genbot , i am sure many people can do better if they avoided my mistakes.
more importantly than the location on the percentile, the score tells you nothing about how you could be a good doctor,or if the patients will feel comfortable with your care or if you can make a better difference where ever you are.
its just a rule put for students to get a license.

Of course there's much more to being a good doctor than a certain step score but a good score doesn't hurt at all. I mean all of us who aspire to be good doctors cannot escape the fact that sound basics as reflected in your scores in some of these exams do atleast indicate that you are going about it the right way and if you continue down this path, keep workin hard and have the proper goals in mind there is no reason why you shouldn't one day be the doctor you want and you ought to be.

congradulation dr hanialkhader mashaAllah you deserve it . i feel very motivated besause we graduated same year and same school only thing i was {a wafid student if you know what I mean} you made me proud I wish you the best in the comming steps and life .and thanks for sharing your thoughts about the exam.

brother I have just started my prepration for ck.and I m studying myself will you please guide me more .I have kaplan lectures notes.will these suffice or i need to add more.and when to start doing UW.

Barak Allah Feek , Sure i would like to do all what is possible to help
Kaplan notes are the main contents of the exam , this mean they will ask you most of the exam on what is in the notes, BUT , you must understand these contents , if you do not understand a word, open a bigger source that explain these contents, you may find this in any text you like ,i have washington manual , NMS Medicine, and many others , just use what will give you understanding of the unclear contents and the guidelines for treatment and disease prevention.
after you do the first round of study which mean you have understanded everything and you added some explanations of what was unclear ,then this is the time for UW, you will need to add some contents which was not in kaplan notes , make a table to monitor your performance as you go through the blocks and identify your weak subjects and fix it and identify the couses of answering Qs wrong and fix it too, then see are you repeating your mistakes (for example the same mistakes in Gyn&Obst, or thew same pitfall of chandeing answers...etc) and fix the problem as you go through blocks) after you finish Kaplan notes 2nd time and UW 1st time , do 3rd time kaplan including what you added from UW and repeat the UW, if you have time do kaplan Qbank in the 1st round of kaplan notes and also add the deficient contents to the notes, and do NMS Review Qs if you have time during the 2nd round of kaplan notes.
after the 2nd round of kaplan notes and you should done the UW 1st time GO FOR KAPLAN SIMULATED EXAM, this will tell you what is the problem you have and what you MUST fix before exam.
If you did that you will do Insha Allah (SWT) better than me

Dear Dr Hani,
Congraulations for your excellent score. it seems you really earned it Mashhalah. I am an assistant lecturer in one of the egyptian universities but now i am living in the united states. i scored 99 in step 1 and now started preparing for step 2. the problem that i dont have the time to listen to the kaplan DVDS but i am planning to do the books. can you recommend me the indespensible lectures that i cant go without them, some friend advised dr Conrad fischer. I am looking forward to hear from you.

You are welcome, there is no lecture you can not dispense, do what i said in the previous post and you will get a score higher than mine insha Allah.

Please dont take this as offence but it would be the bestest help if u could upload yr score reports of step 1 and 2 bcoz its not that we dont believe you but when we read forum e blindly believe in it so we really believe in you and hope this would help for second timers like me .......bcoz i believed in some people saying that kaplan is not enough. and went to take exam without using kaplan.but i guess what you are saying is 100% right and if u could do that it would be awesome and all our prayers and dua for you ..Ameen

You are welcome , However i feel like shy to post my scores, it is like makeing a show ,But one thing you should consider, i am a faculty staff i put Qs and know what would an examiner think about in a Q , and i say it again if you did what i advised before in my post , you and everybody can get higher than me , i used kaplan , but i used too many other sources to give my the understanding of the difficult material ,Pardon me but i really posted my score for 2 reasons which are:
1-To admit and announce to the world that there is a great merciful lord i owe him everything i learned and achived.
2-To give the courage and the high spirit to evrybody who may think he can not get 99.
Good luck and i am sure everybody can score 99 and higher than me if he worked right.

Please everybody i feel it will be like a freak show that was done in the dark times.please do not push.
I have a weird Experience to share here , it is funny and sad in the same time, I had an interview for a job in the Saudia Arabia as a resident in surgery ,coz i dream to live and work close to Makka and Madina,i prefer to stay there than going to USA for a residency,
What happened in the interview was unbelievable.
I entered the room to have an interview with a pofessor in the hospital, he did not look at my CV nor to any of my qualifications or previous work experience before the interview.
Instead he asked me 2 Qs, i could not believe it , he considered my answers are wrong and he started arrogantly telling me the right answers .
Where is the shock in this?-----> he was wrong in both Qs by all means, i did not know what to say 
i think about it and i remember a joke about 2 men from a funny troop decided to make a Mafia, they did an interview for the candidates, they asked the candidates what is the result of 1+1, the members of the stupid troop answered any number except the correct answer (2), untill a cndidate answered 2, one of the Mafia examiners took a gun and shoot him, the other mafia man asked him :"why did you shoot him", the other Answered " He Knows too much"
I felt like i was haveing a similar interview.
What i wanna say is that ,the scores you want me to post did not help me to find a job, and may be it was a reason to lose jobs where i am.
And i am glad for losing this job or even if they told me later i am accepted, i do not think it will work for me after what i found, Wa Alhamdulillah

Bismillah walhamdullilah wa salato wa salamu ala Arrasul al akram..
i'm really happy about ur great score and hope u all the best. i'm a beginner in the world of USMLE and decided to set the CK2 first and i prepared myself to study it in only 6 months ,, is this period enough to study the usmle ck2 and to get a fabulous score like urs.. also if u plz can u help me get the UW.. i really can't find them..
and GL for ur Match

Thank you very much ,i think you can do better than i am, so please read my post and do as it says,and you will do better insha allah, The UW is avaliable in the net and with a very good price if you can not find a copy with a friend where you are.
