Increased pressure within the carotid sinus causes all of the following EXCEPT :
A) a decrease in sympathetic tone
B) a decrease in aortic pressure
C) reflex bradycardia
D) vasodilatation of arterioles
E) atrial tachycardia

A-D are all negative feedback responses to increased blood pressure (B is the effect of the responses), so the exception would be E.

Increase in arterial pressure stretches the arterial wall ,resulting in an increase in the rate of baroreceptor firing,which leads to a decrease in sympathetic tone and an increase in parasympathetic tone.This results in vasodilatation and decreased heart rate.So, the answer is..........

E) atrial tachycardia
