Interviewed at Sound Shore and wasn't too impressed with the program. Anybody else has any thoughts?

I was a fifth pathway student and rotated there for one year it was the worst experience of my life it is very bad if you have other choices please dont go to here

yes they asked me if i wanted to do prelim.

then he went on to say that why was i so confident about matching and that i should apply for prelim as well. he said everyone thinks they are the best match but so do other 1000 people.

dude....they said the same things to me. I was so insulted during the interview that I came home depressed. I don't understand why they invite IMGs for interviews if they are not interested in ranking us.

As I said I did my fifth pathway year at Sound Shore Hospital it is disgusting plus the working atmosphere is tense it is really bad do not go here

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that...I went to Sound Shore and I was blown away. They actually offered me a prematch...but I wasn't too impressed with the program itself.

Sound Shore offered you a prematch? For prelim or categorical? BTW, Sound Shore is one program that I am not even ranking as an FMG. That's how bad a taste they left in my mouth.

I know people who spend years doing preliminary there and never get categorical

yeah that sounds about right. they say there is nothing wrong with a prelim spot but that's bullshit...
