In VF, sodium bicarbonate cannot be given with adrenaline, anyone knows why??

Bicarb can be given with Epi in cases of VF its not recommended because Bicarb causes urinary alkanization and possibly increase the levels of ephedrine, pseudoephedrine

But the role of Bicarb has yet to be signified in VF and is mostly used in teh settings of known acidosis or TCA overdose.

This is my opinion, Comments from seniors will be appreciated.
