I had 228 in step1 and 237 in ck (took it a month back)
Study Plan:
1) All UW step 3 mcqs by next 1 week. (already done vol 3 half,started prep 3 days back
2) EACH SUBJECT (kap ck notes+ UW step2 which i already added onto my kap ck notes+ kap step3+kap qbook step3 1/2 now and 1/2 in 2nd read) (in around 20-25 days)
3) A dedicated whole week for ccs cases( UW + SHAHER + USMLE CD)
4) Final revision of each subject 1by1 ( KAP and uw ck +step3 notes+uw+remaining qbook) PLUS 5 CCS cases each day. About 15 days.
5) NBME assessment (which will decide how much i need more before actual exam)

I am also doing UW Step 3. How many quetions in your vol 1? Do you review other materials while you are doing questions?

yup i have kept my step 2 ck medicine book with me in which i hav added uw of step 2 aswell. i only consult when i feel that im forgetting something. Vol 1 has many questions. all from medicine. i dun think i can count it tht quick for u. may be ill be able to tell u that after a while.
MISSED MY LAST DAY OF STUDY DUE TO EID CELEBRATIONS. STARTING AGAIN.

I have started my step 3 prep and wish to do it well.....I am beginning with lectures from step 2 med ...have done cardio lectures and a nephrology too. I now start with hematology lectures by Conrad Fischer....they seem interesting.....I will add lectures to step 2 ck medicine book.....will read FA later.....

cudnt prepare for step3 in last 2 weeks as i had 3 different ivs to attend. still managed to finish uw mcqs. feelin quite relaxed now. next up step2 ck course revision along with step3 kaplan books n qbook n step3 crush.

Can you plz tell me what difference are you seeing between kaplan Ck notes and step 3 kaplan notes?

yup there s definitly a differency. its one step ahead of ck . as far as u do in ck, they ask u wt u ll do after tht. ask the doses/time period/ most common etio/complication etc as oppose to ck in which main emphasis is on diagnosis n next best step.
