Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the medical residency program at Newark Beth
Israel Medical Center (NBIMC). Your application was marked inactive based on
the basic requirements for applicants to our Categorical or Preliminary
Internal Medicine Residency Program of which you did not meet one or more of
the following:

· USMLE or COMLEX scores in the 75th %’ile or above in both Steps, on the
first attempt

· You must have graduated from medical or osteopathic school within the last 3
years.

· We do not sponsor H1 or J1 visas. We do accept applicants who are Permanent
Residents of the US or who have an Employment Authorization Card (EAD)

· Our institution is not able to offer observorships or externships to
international medical graduates

· For international graduates, clinical experience in the US is certainly
desirable, but there are no specific requirements

Below is the website for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for you
information. Thank you.
