I am happy to say I have accepted a prematch offer... no i have not received a contract yet... but as BBB says - why would the PD lie to me... anyway i have started cancelling the rest of my interviews...
below is a the list
Morristown Memorial, NJ
Overlook hosp, NJ

NY downtown, NY

Lincoln Hosp, NY
Monmouth mem ctr, NJ
Sound shore - new rochelle, NY

good luck all... hope my list helps...
just some words of advice...
grades certainly helped get me in the door... but it was my overall application (PS and CV) which made the difference... make sure you portray everything you said in your application at interview...

Do you have to write your reason to canceling the IV or just you should say for personal reason??? which is more polite

I do not know how to write the letter for cancelling my interview to not offend the PD. Can anybody have any idea or format?

medstar tell the truth...
if you prematched - let them know you have accepted a prematch offer and while you would have loved to see their program it would be unethical for you to interview...

No one will be offended by ur canceling iv as long as u do it as early as possible.
U can choose to explain the reasons or not. Most programs dont care even if u r pre-matched in MGH. All they want is not to waste an iv spot.
