oh no dr ruman not at all .yes I was a silent watcher I didnt think I have much to contribute and did not even thinkk i could actually go to the center sit for the 8 hour test and PASS it .
Now all this is behind and I'm a new person with a new spirit.
I started with internal medicine but I'm using my own notes.I do not where to find the Ka plan lecture notes the real notes ,it seems like every one is selling the pdf format which I'm not realy fond of.If you have any idea on how to find the step 2 material would you please share the info. any suggestions on how to proceed is highly appreciate it

Dr.ruman did you get my email? i started with internal medicine cardiovascular and digestive .Yes it is true step 2 preparation looks more friendly than step1
i think it is because we already have a lot of information from step1.Dr,ruman what material do you recommend for Ck do you have any recommendation.I started reading Kaplan notes ,can you tell me any other material thank you in advance.

Good morning everyone, Dr ruman I'm still lost I need to buy the Kaplan lecture nots I have the DVD but not the notes and also I do not know the best material for step 2 so where should I go I emailed a couple of listers but do not know what is genuine some say they have the international edition ,and some say they have the 2005 edition is there any difference is 2005 not up to date enough to get me a high score and what else should I get as suppelemental .As you can see I'm a total mess

hmmmm,hye folks
yeah fanaye got yr email and replied too,sorry 4 being late
well so far i talked to people who juz gave step 2 wid real good scores and exam experinece observation,kaplan lecture notes along wid kaplan videoes real good combo to start,for deficiencies offcourse UW and kalan q bank,some peple recommend for physical diffrential to study pretest physical diagnosis ,but again prority is kaplan,so far em sticking to it,for review high recommendation for CRUSH step 2,instaed of FIRST AID,I compared too,first is as too much detail as kaplan notes so beeter to stick for detail to kaplan and for end review after 1st read start gettin familiar to crush step2
any other suggestions most welcome,as em also new beginners of step2
i hav edone git and cardio,and about o finish heam
yeah laly,if u living in usa i can send u books of kaplan as i have extra set given by my friend,so let me know,u can pm me

you already covered alot of topics,as you told me i am reading Kaplan notes .yes i agree with you first aid is not inviting i tried to see it,Starting with Kaplan is a good idea .Yestrday went to borders and i bought NMS review 2007
it looks good as a q book what do you think?
Hi laly if ruman can send you the books as he said good study material to start Kaplan notes and CD .We will discuss the rest as we go along the road and will try to beat CK.

Hi faneye ,Dr ruman I ordered crush step 2 but as for internal medicine dont know which Conard Fischer book to buy there were 2 of them on amazon one has kaplan cover the other does not and both are question books .

Dr ruman thank you again so i will be watinig ,meanwhile i started with the DVD and I took my notes with it ,I started with cardio I'm hoping to finish first reading by Feb. Insha Allah I'm not sure if i can do it in noth and a half but i will try.

hi all.....are u doing kaplan videos along with the notes ?? if so, is it for all the subjects or medicine only ??
as for me....i am still waiting for results. wasted 1 whole month....bt now i must start. i too am planning to take in march end. so have to hurry up.

3hysical exma finding and difference between pl .effusion,consolidation,pnemothorax,pul embolism and asthma
imp to diffrentiate as people mostly come wit resp difficulty and sever symptom in emergency mostly wid these problems so really have to diffrentiate first and then proceed for treatment
so go ahead work on them

hi all my friends i am alive again,the last 2 weeks were difficult weeks,because
my computer was down and i lost all my documents in it a friend of my son pressed all the Fs on the key board and was able to delit all the programme in it
Even after the computer fixed my documents are lost and i have to start all over again.
as for my ck prep studying pediatrics from kaplan notes a feel totally desconnected from the world and to go to the public library it is far from where i live .I am happy i am back to the forum and all my friends.i see every body is doing fine.
