hey decide ..thanks for posting ur exp,ur post is extremely helpful. i have an iv at akron gen soon and had a few qus.i wuld appreciate if u can ans them.
1. how many interviews u had and who interviewed u?( i was told i m meeting PD, research faculty and resident)
2. if u met the research faculty,what were some qus asked?were the general or specific to research?
3. what qualities is the PD looking for in applicants?
4. did u ask abt pre-match? did u hear from them after ur iv?any reply to ur thank you notes.
any advice is appreciated. Thanks a lot

Hi aps! I m sorry I havent been checking the forum for a long time...The questions as I can recall were mostly general, no medical questions, there were no qs specific to research but if I have a particular interest...I cant say nywhere wht the pd is looking for, lol... I think if u have usce it would help... I didnt hear back from them, got a general thanku card from them.
Gud luck nd do post if they offer u a prematch.

hi decide..thanks a lot for the info.i was traveling so didnt check ur post. i m done with my iv at akron.things were ok.had 4 iv's..1 pd,2 residents,1 PhD. a resident said they offer prematches late jan..
nothing offered to me.
will post if i get lucky...
