Yes sometimes its like where is this written but with the new RR the usage of Robbins (big book) is more less unless you are planning to do a certain chapters in Gen Path from it. eg, Immunity etc. If you wish to add Robbins to Goljan then Robbins can be used as a reference book. Sometimes keeping the Robbins Pocket companion is also good.

I guess the answer is above. it really depends on your understanding of pathology if you are a fresh graduate then you wont have issues with Goljan but if you are an older graduate then you might need Robbins to refresh concepts but still Robbins should used only when a certain concept is not being grasped or a detailed understanding is required.

those slides from Goljan also contain those pics or I have to buy Robins?

If you intend to buy Robbins only for the pictures or slides then dont. Use the previous edition you have or ask a current grad or anyone to loan you one for a couple of days. That should work.
And as far as the Goljan slides go they are almost everything you need to know and if you still want more then try the Webpath website here.
