I think No one has enough time to advice, so I did my little Research and this is what I found. I am sure amny of us have same problems, so I am putting down whatever I have found so far & am sure this will benefit all the beginners like me. First of all I have realised that it is not at all an easy exam, rather the toughest of all. From whatever I read, my conclusions are as follows. 1. UW is a must and a score of 60-65 % is needed for a score of around 85. 2. Many people recommend First Aid for STEP 3. 3. There are some people who recommend CRUSH step 3. 4. Some people saw the Kaplan videos, however, many have read the Kaplan step 3 notes. 5. Very few percentage of people read " Boards and Wards " which I find is a very good review book. 6. Study time is 6-8 weeks, but considering my speed, I am thinking of 3 months rigorous studies. 7. I saw many discussions which said that only some states allow taking STEP 3 before you've atleast 1 year of US clinical experience (Need to check on that). 8. Some people used CMDT for certain topics like Geriatrics and sports medicine. 9. Some people used Washington Manual for Cardio, EM and some other topics. 10. It is a two day exam with MCQs on first day and some part of 2nd day and around 9 CCS ( ??Clinical Case Scenarios ) on the 2nd day. Let me know if anyone comes across something which is not included here. Let's go for the last kill together. Good Luck Everyone.
