Are you asking whether you should try to attempt the CS again or not?? Of course you should. After passing both step 1 and 2, why would you not? Just work on your weaknesses and try again...as far as how it affects match, it might have a minor effect, but your scores on the steps are a more important factor....

hi, attempts in cs is the worst exam failure.Trust me,even many community program dont like it,its my personal expereince. It may not the same for any one.well again if you are an AMG,you may have a chance. But for IMG its very hard to get IV,even with good scores above 90 in the rest unless you have contacts who can get you interviews. anyway it depends on your CV,how strong it is,your yr of graduation. All these matter along with the result. All the best.

^^^ I disagree. I would rather have an attempt in CS than in Step 1 or 2. As for cskilled.......my decision would depend on whether I have invested in Match or not financially. If you are in interviews right now, and have wasted money on programs........then by all means, Study for CS and take it before March, so that you will be ranked. If, however, you still havent started applying, then my advice would be to take your time. It is crucial that you pass CS, and i wouldnt waste too much money this late in the interview season. Good luck !

I agree with zrf80, a failed CS attempt is not considered as bad as a failed CK attempt. Of course 2 failed attempts in the same exam will affect your application to a certain degree. I would still give it as soon as possible...unless you give it very soon, you won't get your result in by the NRMP deadline which is February 27th, and that will remove you from the match.
