let us list all :

1. staph aureus...common in infective endocarditis..IV drug abusers and also MCC of acute bacterial endocariditis
2. strep. viridans....following dental extraction

3. Enterococcus fecalis...following urological intervention

plz add points to this list :roll:

Strep bovis...associated with colon CA.

Staph epidermidis...associated with artifical heart valves.

Isn't it staph aureus..for I.V dru abuser's ,I think so !

yeah--stap aureus does cause it,but so does p.aeruginosa(as far as i can recall)
