Hi guys,
I just finished my NBME form 1 and got 450. How is the score according to real exam? I want to get scores in high 90s on real exam, so how should I study from now on? What should I do to incerease my score.
I am using UW and have finished it once. Should I do UW again or read the kaplan notes again?
I am confused with that. Please help me out guys.
And any more suggestion will be welcomed.

hey you forgot to mention how much time you have got until your exam.......... 450 is not a bad score if you have time to put more efforts until the actual exam........ i'm only assuming here that you have time,but how much i don't know. i could tell better if i knew how much time you're left with.
my first suggestion for you is to update how much time you have,at least i couldn't say anything to you without that piece of information.

17th January...this means you still have about 5 weeks....that's a lot of time, and you can do a lot of things.....
I would suggest to take UW again and focus on the wrong questions and why did you got them wrong...also you must focun and concentrate on you weak points as appears from NBME......
and the most important thing is " NOT TO PANIC ".....
take it easy...you still have plenty of time most people don't have, so be calm, organized and get the best use of it.

Your UW subscription expired or alive?
If it's dying, give it a 7days CPR. Have a good look at the wrong answers as well as all answers in the field in which you did worst. You can also do Qs from kapQbank (15 days free!) not whole just the weaker areas. (you know your weak points till now right?)
how about doing FirstAid.
Have a good healthy revision of kaplan notes. Always keep in mind what points were asked in UW/KapQ and from that try to derive what other things can be asked. These are the real gems and believe me you're gonna get all those things in the real exam again and again.
Can I ask you your performance in UW? If it was fairly good than your score in NBME can be a result of just bad 4 hours. In that case what all you need to do is to keep cool and forget the NBME. Stick to your usual plans and do it well.

Thanku nany , mytime and deja_vu.....
i have extended my UW for 1 mth. I got a score of 62 on it.... and yes I have started to read again the weaker areas from NBME. I have not read the FA.... just doing kaplan & UW.....
I agree with nany.... I should just keep studying.....
And yes I am going to do tht.
