EXPLAIN !

  #6

low salt and potassium diet and restriction of fluids are important points in renal failure; taking too much salt and water leads to volume overload, in fact GFR is decreased and it makes things even worse, it can be life-threatening for patients with impaired renal function.

  #7

yes but protein restriction too with adequate caloric intake

  #8

yes, but it is controversial, it has not been proved in a prospective randomized studies that low-protein diet can slow down the progression of renal failure.

the answer is D, but i didnot know the reason.

  #10

sorry, answer is C.

  #11

restrict fluid intake and sodium is also recommended for patients with chronic renal diseases. However, only low protein diet can slow down the progression of renal diseases

  #12

My vote is for C
High protein load can damage the kidneys.

There is an answer in UW saying that protein restriction improves the prognosis in renal failure.

I picked C
