hi everybody!
i took step-2 on 28 of november,i havnt taken step-1 yet.i applied in august lastweek,got my scheduling permit on 16 sept.i applied as a "medical student" coz my final year MBBS results were declared on 28 august and my internship started in august.
my medical school hasnt received any document from ECFMG till date.my seniors who took step one earlier this year had their results declared 2 months later than their score day,coz they hadnt been "verified".the med school here was supposed to get a letter from ECFMG requiring the medical school officials to sign it up veryfying that they were the students of this college...the "verification document" might have not reached the med school,coz the officails said they hadnt recieved anything.
so my seniors called the ECFMG to send another "verification document",that finally reached the med school here and was sent back and then the results of my seniors were declared....3 months from the exam day.
so i checked if my med school had recived any "verification document"...it hasnt....i called ECFMG...and they said that they dont send any document to the college..there is nothing like "verification document"...and that i should send my medical degree when i get it i.e. next year....and the lady on phone dint wanna listen to my poor senior's story that i was so eager to narrate....she said that my results should be out in 3-6 weeks......what do i ???
does ECFMG send any verification document to med school?? help me....coz i dont want to wait for my results more than 3-4 weeks....
