Hello all!! I went to my first IV at Bronx Lebanon hospital in NYC last week. Overall i think the experience was pretty stress free but i regret having made some major mistakes that i want to share so it does not happen to you guys, here are my tips: 1.Meditate well on the image you want to project to the interviewer. 2. MAKE SURE you read your personal statement and make really sure you know why you wrote every single thing in there because they do read it and they read it well! 3.If you have anything negative in your CV: no work experience, bad med school grades, a failed step, make sure you know how to explain the reason well to the interviewer because they WILL ask you. 4. Reflect on your flaws, at least 3 of them, because if they ask you won t want to say something that turns them off (like i did!!) 5. When you are speaking, don t look like you reading a speech!! Try to sound spontaneous. And last but definitely not least, relax and enjoy your IV! you were already chosen from a bunch of other people so dont stress too much and make sure that the program fits you, you don t want to spend 3 yrs of your life in a place that you hate. I hope this helps.
