hello niharika! how've u been? when are u planning to take the exam? did u do any simulated tests? may be we could do comparisons and correlations once again. i did the kaplan simulated cd today and got 62 on that. my MCCEE is tomorrow and i don't even have an idea how long the test is going to be ?!! all i am thinking about is eating hot dogs at the downtown tomorrow !

Hi I'm taking Step 2 in about week and half, I'm terrified. I'm and alvays have been poor test taker
Step 1 took twice barelly passing it,
how you guys doing it passing with such a good score?

i have about a month to go for the exam
took usmleworld yesterday for a month and was humbled to not such a good score
i can only tell do lots of question n read explanations n n try n do more questions in subject u think you are lacking
and above all believe in yourself n god and do your best i m sure you ll do very well

Hey there! just registered with USMLEworld...had pretty much the same experience as niha had...scored pretty well on Kaplan and USMLE, but for some reason didn't do well with USMLEworld.
Oh, and one more thing! where can you see the explained answers?

maybe it will be helpfull for someone, I took Kaplan for Step 1 and that testwas quite ok, my first usmle was extreme tough, the second time, I got 5 volume series General principles , hard core q and my second test for step 1 was ok.
So now I'm little bit sceptical about Kaplan, usmleasy, exam master, I'm affraid that again real test will be harder than prep tests

why dont you do nms questions and usmleworld
you can also do harrison pretest
i dont think your exam will be tougher than that
in any case my experience in step 1 was that i missed out on a number of easy questions just bec i did not apply myself
i was tired and just wanted to finish the test i just did not take enuff breaks this time i ll utilize my full one hr and take at least three breaks as soon as i feel tired
but above all question are less difficult and more confusing so you need to think and apply
i m sure you ll d well
and i agree kaplan step 2 q bank is ridiculous for its price

hi guys
today was the DAY
I was suprissed were 46 Q for each block. 60 min, enough time for me.
I'm not saying I did supreme don't get me wrong. Like I said I'm poor test taker.
I did a lot of differernt Q so we will see.
Q were not that long as I expected, I mean some of them were but not too may.
A lot of "next step i mamagement" I serious a lot of them.
Few about diagnosis, I found few from step 1, not suprise, it supp be around 40% of step 1 Q on step2
few xrays, few images, one - newer saw anything like this to be honest.
Few Q that was description you had to gues what is the diag and answe how to prevent those changes
I did two blocks took brake another two and then every other block had to have brake- my head was steaming, I was told I looked like a zombie
so good luck to all of you
I'm not gona be here for while

hello niharika !
did u take the step 2 yet ? i am worried. my scores aren't that promising on the nbme( 400 on both forms), usmleworld:55%,kaplan simulated 65%. i have my exam scheduled for the 27th but i think im going to have to postpone it.what about you? by the way i passed the canadian ee with a 'cannot be mentioned' score ! get in touch. good luck !
