Ok I really need some help here I am in a martial arts class and the instructior says that he can creat a shockwave big enough to burst my heart and the reason he can create such a big shockwave is because he only punches 2 inchs deep into my body and then pulls his punch back really fast he says that this creats a big concussion much bigger then if you were to drive through with the punch. I have been studying Physics quite a bit and from what I understand it is impossibile to create a big shockwave like this but he said I should talk to physiolgy people because the phisics guys dont know what they are talking about. so I wanted to know what you guys think of this clame is there any way you can creat more damage to internal organs and tissue by pulling your punch?

thanks for any help!

Sorry this is not purely a physiology forum so probably not a place to ask question.
