I understand that to apply for Cali. residency requiring a Cali. letter.
How about Cali. license? Do we need that letter to apply for license as well?
Or a 2 yr US residency along is enough?

california doctors have california licence, will have to apply for it if your residency was not in calif, but you want to practice there.

yes, you can apply.

But your school must be in the list of CA board.

But there are a few post in this site that mention a few hospitals in CA that still don't require the California letter.

yes, but you may not be eligible to get a license after completing your residency or that program is not AGCME accredited.
