COCCIDIOIDOMYCOSIS is endemic in the Southwestern United States. )
lyme disease is endemic in northeastern US
plz can some one list the states found in those regions (i am very poor in geography) and it will be of help to those IMGs who have never been to the states.

The San Jaoquin Valley in the SW is the area for coccidio-New Mexico ,California, Arizona.maybe part of Texas,pt Mexico also
For Lyme disease the NE area is New York, Long Island (where Im at)
Conneticut, New Jersey,Massachusetts. Pennsylvania. The most extreme Northeast is New Hampshire,Vermont and Maine but this part is colder.
Key words for coccidio are ,arthroconidia, spherules with endospores, calcifications, S.W., E.nodosum
