Hey,
My exp at LIJ:
impressive hospital
nice porgram
nice people
only one iv
no bull shit questions ..... just casual talk ...... mainly about your goals
strongest for heme/onc fellowship
i was the only img on the day of my iv ...... no ...... there was one more guy from S. America ....... i made the mistake of scheduling it very early .... couldnt present my best form at the iv and was a bit anxious and stressed from Step3 prep ......
overall ...... 7-8/10
chances for img ....... one resident told me that ones with phd are preferred.

they occassionally offer prematch ....... but you cannot ask for it ....... it is initiated from their end ........

So if they prefer PhD do they really do reseach and if there is bench side as well there?
How much is the patients load overthere?
How was the ambient of the program, do resident hang out?
