I took my exam recently.I am a silent observer on this forum.I prepared for about a month and practiced all cases in first aid and UW.The center opened at 7:30 and after orientation finally encounters started.1st five cases then break for 30 min.then 4 cases and then is a break for 15 minutes and finally 3 cases and you are done.I knocked the door, draped, wash my hands in every case ,did counseling in every case but in closure i just told them D/Ds and Diagnostic workup but didn't summarize is that a big mistake? Also in 3 cases out of 12 i just didn't have a time for closure so i just told them that we'll meet again when your results will be back and will go over your treatment options, thanks for your cooperation take care and bye.I forgot somethings in cases and forgot to write somethings in patient note.I don't know but i am not satisfied after the test is that a normal feeling? Preparation wise UW and FA are enough but do practice twice in a timed mode. You'll do in the exam exactly whatever you practice so practice, practice and practice. In the exam time is limited as you are stressed out but be confident and calm. You cannot do everything in 15 minutes .10 minutes for patient notes are enough so practice mainly in history taking and examination part and you'll have a challenging question everytime so be prepared. While washing your hands, think if you missed something, while listening to the heart sounds and breathing think if you missed something and revise in your brain whatever SP has told you so if anything more you want to ask. I don't know how i did but inside i am not satisfied,is this a normal feeling? and if you don't summarize patient but do counsel and tell D/Ds ans investigations is that ok?do they fail you on these things? I will be really thankful for any input and remember to take tyelenol or Ibuprofen if you get headaches just in case.Food will be given, water and coffee will be there so don't worry about these little things, fruits wll be there too. Good luck to all of you!

Hey supra, you will be fine. I read about one person who didn't finish 6 cases (didn't close the encounters) and he passed, he also made other mistakes. I guess he posted in this forum. Let us know more about your experience. GL.
