So all of my search results were "6 weeks study schedule" titled.. raised eyebrow

I'm starting from the zero.. (and I think maybe from the subzero level), and I believe that this "6 weeks" thing will cause me a nervous breakdown, especially that I haven't graduated yet, and I'm studying Surgery and Internal Medicine at college for my final year, so it'd be so stressing for me to go through this 6 weeks schedule.

To cut it short, (cause I know I blah-bla-blah a lot), I need someone with an experience to tell me how much time I need to prepare from a zero level.

Also, a rough schedule on "start with that, then that", along with how much time needed on each subject, would be great.. nod

And thank you so much =)

If an IMG is studying for USMLE Step 1 then its takes around 4mnths to do the first read, 50days to do the second and then 20 days to do the third read. This is an average time taken by graduates some have done it in less or have taken extra time for it.

For an UMS ongoing medical student who has just studied the material for his/her med school exm shud take around 3mnths to be ready for the test depending on how good of grades person gets on his medcshool exms.

The 6 weeks schedules have been mostly posted by medical students who have conveniently forget to mention that they have done Kaplan for their med school exms.

depends,ur level of speed ,ur level of memorizing, but as u r graduating so things quite fresh,so first make a goal like 4 month is good for fresh graduate, dont make it longer as with predefined goal u wont get slow or lazy, after 1st read start assessing ur level of absorbing concepts and start doing Q banks,by end of 2nd read u b better able to think how much time u need to aim a certain score,so make target 4 month, stick to it,and later after assessing urslf finalize a date

best luck
