wat's true about squamous metaplasis of cervix?
a.. premalignant condition
b.. physiological phenomenon
c.. ass. with viral infection
d.. source of abnormal cells
e.. hysterectomy should be done
f.. cone biopsy is necessary

squamous metaplasia is a physiological phenomenon which could easily be due to irritation

It is squamous dysplasia that one should start to get worried

Metaplasia---one tissue to other type but differentiated
Dyplasia-- undifferentaited

So metaplasia is physiological to irritation or anyother stress
