hey ,i am graduate from pakistan,i have given my step 1 and waiting for result,today i was applying for step 2 cs

in application there is question

"i was required to do intenship before recieving medical diploma"

another question i was required to do government or social service before receiving medical diploma"

i want to know, does it apply to us as pakistani graduate,as we do clinical clerkship or rotation in wards during medical college,and do house job later which is optional as we get our diploma before doing house job

what does ecfmg mean by INTERNSHIP ,is it same like our CLINICAL CLERKSHIP in different wards during medical college,helppppppppppppppp

NO by internship they mean housejob not the wards, Wards would be considered as electives.

I forgot to mention this that normally all the Medical colleges esp the Govt ones have this rule that we are not required to do intership for the diploma but if u are from a private medical college then i dont they might have different rules. Cos i think Baqai and Ziauddin fall in this category ( both Karachi hospitals).

These rules are for graduates from Arab countries like Sudan and Egypt where it is considered a part of their diploma. NNL is correct.
