Hi there,
Im and IMG from India.my college over here have no idea about the MSPE required while applying for the match.has any one got it from ur respective colleges.if so can u plz let me know how i cud format it by myself or send a copy of it to me.u can respond to this mail id -santhea2006@yahoo.co.in

hi santhea...my college in india too had no idea and i used the mspe format given by ecfmg/usmle (its there on the site). i gave them the copy...but they refused to do the graphs and said because they didnt have the right to other students info they couldnt give me a compariosion (as in what my position was in each exam) but they made me one that fit the format asked for by usmle. and i sent that, and have got interviews too so i guess it worked !

My college didn't sign MSPE due to so detailed and the college can't handle student's performance. I replace MSPE as Medical School's Letter of ecommendation with the same content without gragh.

The prior form was Dean's Letter, now is called MSPE. I think if you get a Dean's Letter, it is acceptable. Some people can get residency by that way. It is very hard to get a MSPE, it is just for US medical student and a few of countries. As for me, I got it under Medical's Letter of Recommendation. I had no choice.

santhea--yes i did get a mspe from them without the graphs...they did say i was in the top students but didnt mention any objective data...anyways IMG have the option of firstly saying mspe cant be obtained and ERAS just replaces it with a letter of recommendation; it also hardly ever rejects anything u send as a MSPE because every college has there own patter (though they do recommend u to use the standard format)...also MSPE is more important for the AMGs because theirs are more routine...so dont worry too much about it...make one acceptable from the format on ecfmg site and delete whatever ur college wont give u...all the best
