cirrhosis would cause portal hypertension :arrow: which would lead to increased hydrostatic pressure in the portal venous system.besides,liver wont be able to synthesize albumins efficiently,leading to decreased venous colloid osmotic pressure.both factors favor ascites.

the most accurate answer i HYPOALBUMINEMIA....which leads to decreased colloid osmotic pressure...............anne is rite....
