hi i m n img graduated ion 2004 planning to take my step 1 in march/april along with baby sitting my 16mths old daughter I have started my prep a month ago done with anatomy, embryo,histo,micro,immuno, . now doing physio, pharma and patho syubject wise but almost done with half of patho from golgan. I m reading kaplan for all subjests except goljan for patho along with some big reference books in areas where i lack

My question is are these books o.k and till when should i complete my 1st read becuase at no cost i have to nail it in march/april

guys i need ur urgent reply time is running for me bye

yes a normal 8-10hrs a day for 4mnths takes for the first read. this is the general trend and adjusted according to ones need and feasibility. The books ui have mentioned are enuf. only HY for NA and u will be fine. But u must be able to dedicate a minimum of 5hrs a day in te next 2 mnths to be able to finish atleasdt 3 reads before ur exm.

Hi Penzy,
don't forget Behavioral Science!!!! That one also is very important. I heard that BRS is a good sourse for BS and some recommend Kaplan for it. Good luck

Well oldoc thanks for remembering B. Science yes BRS along with kaplan is enough

I have done 1 read of this subject very early so iwill b doing it in the end of dec after completing my system wise study
