Apologize, something happened to my post. Here is the link I attached, and is more clearly readable : http://www.ecfmg.org/2008ib/ibmec.html#transfercr... My questions are : 1, Am I still eligible even if I studied for 9 years at my home country? 2, What exactly they mean by '' Transfer credit'' and 7 year period. Someone please help me out. With regards.

Elan, I suggest you to email directly ecfmg/eras to clear these questions. This is a delicate issue and they will have the most accurate answer.

Thanks Chemamr, I will call them as soon the holidays will be over. Is anybody here who studied longer then 7 years ? Or is it just valid for credits earned after 1.Jan 2008? Oh, so many qs, sorry, I just have lump in my throat , thinking I will not be accepted by ECFMG for this. Thanks again, I just feel very lost, and can not clearly understand their criteria. What does '' transfer of credits mean? '' Anyone can tell me more? Thanks again. And Happy Thanksgiving.

chemamr is right ECFMG is best to answer your questions.... However i don't think you have a problem unless you transfered schools within this nine years...

Thank you Cocacola, I will call them to get the clearest answer. Wish I would read about it before the holidays, I guess a Murphy law is working well ( I found out about it, when I can not do anything about it ). Was curious is anybody studied longer in the home country. Thanks .
