Hi friends,
I am kind of getting addicted to the forums here. I open this site 5-10 times a days and just hope around here and there. will read most of the new posts and the older post for those topics. It am wasting a lot of time (though I find many important information too). 
I wanted to know whether it's happening with any one or it's just me. Any treatment modality for deaddiction? or its just common benign condition?

I usually have it open on a different computer, while I'm doing UW on the another. And I'll just hit the "new post" button to see if there is anything quick and interesting, and then get back to UW.
I find it's only really addicting when I don't feel like getting back to studying. Then I just close it.

hi,count me in!.I feel good that iam not alone.I really thought i had ocd(obsessive compulsive).but iam a step ahead,i devote whole days for it. like doc750 says its only when i don't want to touch the books.

A lot of questions discussed here helped me during step 2 CK. So, it's a healthy addiction. And one day, you'll get over it, and you won't have time for withdrawal symptoms, if everything goes right.

ok, this disease is found in step 1 country too. so we need to tackle it on a large scale almost global level. i've sincerely done my best to cut down, esp these days, coz it's high time to drown in my books, so i come on only like twice a day. and i keep telling myself, 'from tomorrow OD, and then eventually every 48 hrs' ..........yeah, right!

Thank you, guys!
My recipe: Italian + Spanish + Portuguese + Black (who would ever say?) + Brazilian Indigenous (small eyes) = ME! Mix it with Argentinian and German = 3 beautiful kids that I have. That's how we are in Brazil, no "pedigree" at all!

LOL Arlete, same here.
Regarding the addiction issue...it depends ...if I use it to collect info, help, automotivation, study partners and finally if I am able to help. heck I think it is possitive. But if i use it without any purpose, then i am wasting my time.

When I get sluggish in study I check out people's experiences and their scores...it gives me some boost to sit and study....I like being addicted to it ..!!!
