Yeah, can someone answer that? I've wondering as well I know what a clinical elective is cos im doing it next week. Its a rotation you do as part of your medical school program most commonly in your final year. That is, your medical school allows you to go overseas and take an "elective" in a specialty of your choice. THey are usually around 4 weeks long. You do what a normal medical student would do.... Now can someone please explain the others? cheers!

Hi! I found this definition:In externship, the student can touch/examine most patients. In observership, the student merely watches as the physician examines the patient. Clerkship is practical clinical training before a student has the medical degree.
