another bad day! whole week was bad! i hate when i have to go to people's house, then be in midst of stupid conversation, about purse ranging from $400 to 8,000. i dont know why am i mad, is this because the hosue i went was my husband's friend's hosue, and women i had to talk to were my husband's friends' wives, not my friends, or that i cant afford those purse,lol. i hate the stupid guy who came to visit everyone from dallas, so that i had to end up in a gathering, i hate going to all gathering, i dont want to go anywhere, until i clear my step 1. Those people dont have any goal, any target, most of them are older, i dont have anything common to talk about, even if i had a kid, i could atleast talk about something all of them have older kids, 11 to 20. and i have no kid, no career, no purse which cost 400 to 8000, lol, thats crazy, why would people buy a purse that cost 8000, hope i dont become a materialistic person someday! ok, this would be the last day wasting time! i have to become very aggresive and serious about study! done with my venting, now i should study half an hour and go to bed. why these days are so cold, i cant wake up!
I will be good from tomorrow!

HI ad... i had thought i could never bring myself to post here again... but everytime i read ur posts i cant help smiling and i feel i just have to write to u...:-)
just the fact that u are pissed off about ppl talkin about 400 $ purses shows that u are a class above all of them! wow even 400 $ is so crazy for a purse! i dont even have 400 $ in my purse !! hmmm... relax girl... its good to meet and interact with all kinds of people... even those u totally dislike... that reinforces who u are and gives u a clear pic of what u never want to become:-)
i live in a very small town in a vey cold place... we very rarely go out for ' gatherings' ... there are hardly any ppl here to gather..... :-) i miss ppl...
ok enough of this... bad weeks happen... im sure u know that... even bad years happen! its all about just getting up and movin along... so gud luc! as for me... i dont feel like talkin bout myself...Bye:-)

I live in small town too, but there are lots of people from my country, and and my husband's country, i kept my group shut, lol. because my house is small, but somehow there comes a situation when i cant avoid, like that one, a guy came from dallas to visit all his friends here. Hi!!AD !!Having another of u r MOODs HUH????????? !!Anyway know what u mean. Been there done that!!! But now after 2 kids no time or patience for all that stuff so now hubby is on his own for Such gatherings. have been branded unsocial but honestly till my exams r done dont even care!! I have enough of a social life with PTA's and the likes. And yup dont invite anyone home either.

lol, yes mj, how is your studies going?
Today is so far so good, did one block, took a quick look at answers, will reveiw some of the ques later. Read word for word hemato chapter 6, listened hemato audio 7. last 3 hours busy with dinner, and other household work, now back. Hope I can study 3 more hours, even though i feel tired. I should either RR renal or heart or if i dont feel like, i will do some ques.

thanks karime, and study! i read heart from RR for 2 hours, but couldnt finish it, but read 2/3 and for last half hour, couldnt concentrate, i will rather go to bed now. Tomorrow will be another great day!

thanks study and saima for dropping by. i did a block of ques today, then 1 goljan lecture, one of my sister in law called, couldnt avoid talking to her, she is going home .after 7 pm, went out, had dinner, and grocery shopping, came home, done with organizing and prayer, finally came to table with a cup of tea, hoping to study another hour, renal RR or audio.
@saima, glad to hear that you found a study partner, you are lucky, oh my first read, it was done long ago,lol, way before my first attemp,lol. i am veteran.

AD .............. been there , stop that for good yrs , re gathering, some r good old time but in long run ppl r ppl  , so take it or leave it , cannot avoid ...just b there but b distant mentally so , enjoy cheere up as soon as home u r with ur book asap .

haha, study thats ok, work harder today.
@shew, so nice to see you, you are right, pple are pple,lol, and we have to study harder, lets do it girl!
yesterday, i listened one goljan lecture, renal 2. did 25 questions, but could read only half of the explanations.
Today, i worked a lot, so now back to studies, still got 5 hours. so plan is 50 questions, and 1 system of patho from RR. Happy studying everyone!

I can imagine how you could get distracted with numerous things around the house when you have a family. Someone told me that we cannot wait for the waves to stop before we could go to swim, we just have to learn to swim with the waves. Such is life and we just have to learn to multitask. You are doing great, keep pushing.

Hi!1AD, Thanx for visiting my journal. RR is going good. Finished till Resp.Actually doing RR with 2 study partners so finishing 2 readings at the same time. so far it seems to be helping sounds crazy huh?!! but well have to finish 2 readins by the end of this month before i take an NBME . also doing FA its going ok.. but doing bad with q's so decided come what may from today should do 50 q's with explanations so far done 2o q's got 30 more to go!!!. Hoping its going to work.
I can see ur doing great!! just keep it up!!!&TC.

simon,thank you for your kind words, yes, you are right, we have to get going no matter what, it was nice to read in your journal, how supportive your wife was, thanks to our spouses for bearing with us in hectic time.
@mj, thats actually a great idea, wow! thats innovative, i am glad you will get done with 2 readings in same time, brilliant.
Ok, my today's goal was 100 questions and reveiw some cycles of biochem. as for now, done with 50 questions, with explanations, going to start another 50 after some snacks and coffee. Poor biochem is back to shelf!. I need to change my pattern, but for now i have to do another 50 questions. This smash question bank is expiring on 21st, it had 1000 questions, i am left with 150. so, hope to finish it by tomorrow, then reveiw some biostat and genetic, and neuro, because those were my lowest. it was not a bad one.
