what is the drug of choice for acute angle closure glaucoma ?

  #2

the goal of treatment is to lower the IOP as quick as possible...i think that the drug of choice is PILOCARBINE eye drops: facilitate aqueous outflow...

in association with blocking aqueous production: Bblocker( such as timolol, Betaxolol) acetazolamide and mannitol.
reducing vitreous volume: oral glycerol oral isosorbide...
