I took the step 2 CS in LA last august. I'm really frustated because I failed. I failed in the integrated clinical encounter part. I think I made terrible mistakes in the exam, unless I think so. The first mistake was in one patient I fogot to ask about all the medical surgery and social history. Another mistake was when I finished really fast in a pediatric case and the mother was staring at me like waiting for something else. I think they were the most relevant errors in my encounters. Do you think it was enougthto fail? It was really hard. I think LA is a hard place to take CS, there are many good actors there..¡¡¡ Unless 7 of 12 patient asked to me unless one challenging question. My first encounter with a really bad guy, ungry with my questions. Well, now I'm trying to take my step in the next month and I found this page, that is really important for all of us, not only with advises, but support and friendship too.

Sorry to hear that Rolo. Would you mind sharing with us the challenging questions that were asked by the SPs? I am taking my CS this Saturday in LA. Hope I'm as good as an actor as they are. *lOL* Best of luck on your prep and hope you find a good schedule for next year.

I have a colon cancer for the blood in my stools dr? I will share more of the challenging question as they are permitted in the web

Yes, man, questioning a history is a necessary part of a passing performance... Just now learn your lesson and sit for another exam as soon as circumstances and finances allow that... GL
