Hi,

Please help me these questions.

what is the difference between Distensibility and
Compliance of the Vessal?

What happens at the molecular level when the skeletal muscle is STRETCHED?

Thanks in advance

when you stretch the muscle fiber, distance btw z lines increase. up to a point actin and myosin interaction is enhanced. so when it starts to contract more force will be produced due to more cross bridges. but if you further stretch interaction btw actin and myosin will be lesser, which will produce weak force when contracted. i think this is called the frank starling law.
