A 10-year-old African american boy with a history of nasal discharge for the past 10 days presents with discomfort in his left ear. He reports having a feeling of fullness in the involved ear. He also complains of hearing popping sounds in his left ear while swallowing. Examination of his left ear shows conductive hearing loss. Otoscopy reveals retraction of the tympanic membrane and decreased mobility on pneumatic otoscopy. His vital signs are stable. What is the most likely diagnosis in this patient?

A. AOM
B. Eustachian tube dysfunction
C. Serous OM
D. Otitis Externa
E. Foreign body in left ear

popping sound differentiate from SOM?raised eyebrow

what about otoscopic finding between SOM and Eustachian tube dysfunction? isn't it same?
