I was hesitating to post my progress in detail because I had little time for my prep. The Match process also affects greatly on my concentration.
How can I not go to non-usmle site  ? like Match forum and News 
Anyway, what I did in the last few days:
1. UW: Finished ID, Hem-onc, Genitourinary Qs
2. Listened to Medstudy DVD on Hem-Onc and Pulmonary-Crit
Will do today
1. Pul UW Qs
2. Listen to Medstudy DVD on GI, ID and Cardio

I did Pulmonary and Cardio Qs today and was in 50-70%. I feel scary even though I consider UW Qs as a learning tool. I found many gaps between my knowledge and the practical management to the patients, especially in the Office settings.
I haven't finished watching DVDs in Cardio and ID. Need to do them soon.
Will do Rheumatology for the next set.

I had 2 days off due to many distractions and getting flu. Finally I catched up with what I intended to do last Friday! I opened the new FA step 3 with a big surprise that there are so many topics needed to cover . So I will post them here again to followup my progress. My target on Feb last week becomes more and more undoable.  So, I need to change my plan with only 5hrs/day of studying.

Just registered CCS (88 cases).
My plan is to do 2 blocks of UW + 5 CCS cases/ day and reading on selected topics
with prayers...

Didn't do much today. Just scanned the musculoskeletal part in CMDT.
Read the manual of USMLE step 3. There are many topics needed to cover in "Step 3 Content Outline" that appear on this manual.
Tomorrow plan: Neuro UW and Neuro reading.

Done with hafl of my plan  That's weekend! Finished Endocrin MCQs. I think it's harder than step 2 CK in the way of analyzing data and making decisions.
Tomorrow's plan: Geriatrics and Psychiatry. It will possibly take more than 2 days.
I also need to fill my big holes digged by UW MCQs.
Medocuk@ : Have you done with CCS. Is there anyway to practice them faster? and what is your resource so far?

OMG, Yuna CMDT and all, now u are scaring me! I better get serious. CCS, only faster way I ca think of is practise the same case over and over till u really are fast in the test. I think I'll follow ur above schedule for UW, I'm sick of it, even without doing it.

Dear mytime, my sunshine.
I gave up W. Manual and Shaher CD with Premier Notes, cause I thought I live in the same planet as you do, Am No Alien . CMDT is still my favourite and I prefer it to Kap CK notes. Did you ever try FA step 3 and FA IM? Everytime I touch FA books, I fall asleep. I need to change FA to Ambien
I haven't started CCS yet! Will do as your advice, thanks.

FA EM is what I touched but have heard that FA IM is good. FA Step3 sud be ok but I know what u mean abt asleep though, same planet I see!
How sud one read from CMDT, advise plz..

Done with Psychiatry UW without reading, scored 60% .
Done with preventive med UW, scored 50%.
Can't read any pages more, feel saturated!
Started CCS and couldn't end the case due to lack of time. I think I need to practice more with the software and a clear-cut stragegy.
Plan for today:
- Read Geriatrics and Preventive Med,
- Practice CCS
- Fill my gaps in other specialties

- Done with Dermato, ENT, Ophthalmo, Ethics MCQs. I still have poisoning and statistics to go, then I should head to Ob/Gyn, Ped and Surg for 1 week. By the end of this week I will do USMLE CD to check my status. I still hesitate to go with CCS case because I don't have much time and can't concentrate enough.
- I am thinking of postpone the test, if my NBME is not good 2 weeks later. I recognize that I can't rush for this test which requires me much clinical and physician skills and knowledge than the other 2 steps. Even when I know exactly what is the Dx of the vignette, I can't decide confidently the best choice. That's scary. I always think that if I were a doctor at that time, what should I have done for the patients???
- We have New Year Day from tomorrow, and I will put off some of my current tasks.
- I wonder USMLE 123 is as good as UW CCS for this preparation...

your journal is quite inspiring, you are doing an amazing job
I have a question about time line, i will finish 1st read of all the subjects around 24th of february (FA Kaplan step 3 notes and UW questions) then after that i will review ccs for 1 week (UW blueprint FA and maybe shaher) how much time it will take after finihsing ccs to review everything and take the exam, is 2 weeks an unrealistic estimate?

I am done with my holidays! Can't read or do much on my preps. I decided to postpone my test till Mid March, because I think I need more time for CCS preparation.
I am reading CMDT again for IM and CK notes for the remaining. Med Study DVDs are so good for IM, but it takes time. I will do it again when I finish my reading.
I know I need to score high this step. It's critical!

madmad: to me 2 weeks are not enough for CCS. I don't know if I were in your situation. UW 88 cases, FA 100 cases, and step123 100 cases. They are too much for such a period

Ah yes, CCS is great at USMLESTEPS 123. Again how are u reading the CMDT, cover to cover or just reference. Tnx.

mytime, my sunshine... I read CMDT subject wise, instead of reading CK notes and UW explanation. As I experienced, both of them were extracted mostly from CMDT and CMDT is well-written and easy-read. I felt that way, so I have to do what I need to... it's hard, I know, but after my 1st read UW, I didn't feel confident about my IM and my exam. (P/S: thanks for your input about step123...got it offline)
I am doing 1 chapter per day, and it's a long run. Then I will be back to CCS and UW second reading. Kap Qbank is my next target. I wish I had enough time.
- Did ENT, Eye, Pulmonary
- Today is for CVS
