hello friends
i was browsing the internet and i came across AMERICAN INST OF PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY IN NEWJERSEY.the website is www.aiptnet.com.
i enquired about the course of clinical research associate.one of the vicepresident Dr geecee pat replied my queries .its a one yr course extendable to 2 to 3 yrs.the total fees for the course is 16,000 dollars ,the fee of 8,000 dollars should b paid before joining and 8,000 after 4 months.they also provide accomadation for which they charge around 400 to 500,but we need to pay 6 months advance.they have batched in jan/april/july etc.he said that many indian doctors are doing the courses and later they have joined residency in the hospitals.i am really confused whether to join this course or not?do u guys have nay idea about this course or do u know anybody who have already done this course.i really need to check on joining this course becoz 8 to 10 lakhs of indian rupees i need to invest.
any advice is appreciated.

Why would YOU need to pay to do research!? It's usually the other way around. The hospital/uni pays you or you work as a volunteer.
Always be careful of unknown places which require you to pay something in advance.. sounds like a sham to me. However, if you're really interested then go and check the place out in person before committing yourself.
