Hi ,
to all struggling moms,
i simply am not able to focus, i'm going into depression.please help me get out of this.
I'm not able to focus on anything,dozens of random thoughts going through my mind, my child is teething,hubby is cooperative but sometimes get tired and we both get frustrated.
how do you moms do it?
I keep losing focus like this and that causes gaps in my studies and therefore get more delayed , please , i need advice, motivation, something inspiring to help get out of this cycle.

so i can see somebody just like me...
my exam is at the end of this month and my baby is now 6 months and he is teething too and these last days of my exam i need to focus more but you know ke is getting so fussy because of teething....
actually i don't know how to help you ,but i just can tell you that you are not alone....i am very tired now and i hope i could pass the exam because i think it is very hard to fail and back to these books again,i can not even imagin it
by the way...that's the way it is...we have to deal with it...
we can also encorage eachother too ...we are just the same,,,
so ,when is your exam?

I have delayed my exam alot.,and i dont even know when i will be able to give it,thats what is getting me frustrated.
You are lucky, you have worked hard and are just one month away, you ccan do it just hang in there.
i have delayed my exam and am nowlost all sense of direction,as to how to proceed and finish this.
I really need someone to guidde me.
I am even considering looking for a phone tutor or someone.
someone who has just written the exam and have passed with excellent score and willing to guide for some amount of money.
I heard of something like that on another forum.
I actually just need constant boost and support,dont know i'm going to finish this.
Good luck to you.,just think another month and you are done.
I am desperate for that feeling of being done with all these exams and succeed

Hi sam doc and shohreh,
You are not alone Mother of 3, I know how you feel. I postponed my exam many times also. Due to the fact that I also feel like my mind roams at times because I cannot organize my time effeciently and because of some minor medical reasons that kept me from taking the exam. These delays do lead to frustration. However, hang in there, I always tell myself I know I can do it, it might take me longer than others, However, this the way maybe God intended it to be, a mother first then USMLE. We will get there. One word of advice, take advantage of your time while the baby is still small, you can get more things done.
I was also thinking about a phone tutor, I found one online you could goggle usmle tutor and you will see his website, his name is MICKEY, Did you hear about him? Good Luck and Never give up.

Thanks naki and shoreh for your encouragement.
its reallly getting hard and frustrating, but we have no other go but to hold on,
hold on to that dream we have been dreaming of for so long.
@ naki, i went to the site you suggested , but the phhone number doesnt come up,
i guess they got an overwhelming response and are not giving out their number anymore.
I am actually looking for a real person who has finished their steps sucessfully and have some time to spare and are willing to help and earn some money as well.
Preferably a girl though, but if its a guy tutor its ok as long as they show you the right direction and way of studying and are honest.
@shohreh: I saw the site before , but never got a chance to use it , so dont know if it works,maybe you can ask someone else on this board if they have used this site.

What exactly do you need? What kind of tutor? You want to discuss your doubts, or what? What step are you studying for?
