hey friends,do wee need to ask every female SP about her last pap smear n h/o of abnormal papsmears or just ask in gynaec cases.In case the the sp says she never got any pap smear done ,is it necessary dat we counsel dem n tell the importance of it,does dis issue carry any points.?pls clarify.

well it would be important to ask esp if there is a gyn history. and if they coming for a general checkup, then definitely. and i guess if they give a significant sexual history, then i would ask and then put in as part of the workup.
