HOW to speed up DVD lectures ?

please if anyone knows and can spare 5 minutes CAN U pleeeease give me instructions step by step on how to speed up my dvd lectures to this 1.5 speed. I have MAC and Windows. thanku!!

Yes It can very well be used in windows XP... in fact thats how i used it. for step 1..

winnera if you have windows media player you can just click on view, then enhancements then speed settings, that should open the box at the bottom and you can adjust the speed up to 2X faster.
