Which antihypertensive pharmacologic agents should be avoided or used with caution in the following conditions?

1. DM

2. Asthma

3. Gout

4. CHF

5. Pregnancy

DM:B blockers
Asthma: BB
Gout: diuretics
CHF: ??if decompensated its BB
Pregnancy: ACEI

1DM-- Beta blocker(mask symtoms of hypoglycemia)
2. Asthma --BETA BLOCKERS(bronconstriction)
3 GOUT--thiazides ( hyperurecemia)
4 CHF--Ca cha blockers( fluid retension,vasodilation)

5 PREGNANCY-- No loops

DM - thiazides, BB

Asthma: BB

Gout: thiazides, and loops

CHF: CCB, BB

Pregnancy: Ace inhibitors
