hey gena .. thank you 4 ur trust
to tell you the truth i don't know which is better coz i only did the qbank.I did UW based on the recommendation of the great ppl here and I think it was the best as recommended .. its an amazing learning tool 4 the exam as it covers alot of important topics 4 the exam and teach us how to think ..

ops totally confused,hay angel did u mean just UW q bank or kaplan q bank,hurry plzzzz ,as i just did UW q bank,no kaplan,my score NBME 2 ,530 ,and exam nov 21,helppp,dhould i try to solve some kaplan q bank too,or just forget it as no time,or .........................

I'm back again after along period of time ..sorry 4 the delay in reply !
medhavi, if you want my advice i encourage you to do the exam as early as you can .. ye do it if you havr covered all the required material in your program..
alhamdelah It's good to think about your future now and start the preparation process
step 1 experience was helpful 4 me.. not only that i feel relieved that I'm at least done with 1 phase but it refreshed some of what I've learned in earlier years ..

hi angel doctor....ur post and exam exp. is very very inspiring....congrats for the scores and good luck with ur step 2 ck !! how many months did you study for step 1 and did u do downloaded kaplan q bank or online? my problem is right now tht i try to take notes from questions and it takes a long time just to do 50 q's a day....but anyways good luck with this marathon !! god bless you ..

i know i suffered 2 with the q bank it takes a long time.As i said earlier , i was also having some trouble in doing question since they were time consuming so i did somewhere between 50-100 q a day and still i went to the exam with only 65% of the Q bank done .. i used USMLE world
you can see that doing USMLE needs time but you can also see that although time is an important factor lot of people were able to get a high score while studying 4 a short period of time. so it's the quality of study not quantity . Try your best within the time constrain you have and do as much as possible of questions . we all as human beings have limited abilities so do your best and leave the rest on god
I prepared 4 the exam 4 around 3 months and half
